While many of us are quibbling over PCC or no PCC down south another shocker comes along(check this link to read). If they are indeed true then they are shocking crimes against women.
None of the religious orders seem to be free from its share of Rasputins. Even seemingly educated individuals with convent-educated background are not totally immune to it.
To leave you with a really bad taste let me ask this, why it seems to me that the channels who were so keen on reporting everything on Mangalore not really keen on picking this up (sorry for being cynical).

Sex scandals in the Church is not new, the world over. Sodomy, paedophelia, you name it, it's all there. This is the result of compulsory abstinence... when the mind and the body want sex but are barred from seeking it.

ReplyDelete@ Media (Mainly English) is owned by private companies and most money by which they are driving comes from outside India. So it is quite clear that the motive of news will not be to "harm" the purpose of investment of money. Moreover no "Secular" will utter a single one word on this, so if any body talks about the righteous action against this it will be called as narrow minded, communal, fanatic. Few months back more speculations were shown on church attack in Karnataka, Orissa by VHP and Bajarang Dal while the cause of the same is hide in all news channels. I am not supporting every act of fanatic peoples like VHP, BD, SRS etc but in the force of opposing their act the cause which does not get diminished by opposing/stopping them is always left out to disturb harmony of the society.
